Hansen Leadership Institute 2027: a fully funded three week peace and leadership programme in San Diego

A fully funded three week residential programme in leadership, mediation and conflict resolution at the University of San Diego in California, open to young leaders aged 20 to 25 from around the world, including Nigeria. The Fred J. Hansen Foundation pays international airfare, room and board and all programme costs. Applications from outside the United States, references included, close at 11:55 PM Pacific Time on 15 January 2027.

Eligibility: You must be 20 to 25 years old on 1 July 2027, that is at least 20 and not yet 26 on that date

Funding or benefit

Fully funded by the Fred J. Hansen Foundation: international round trip airfare, room and board and all programme costs are covered, with no participation fee. The only costs to a fellow are passport fees and personal spending money. Selected international participants also receive a DS-2019 issued by the University of San Diego and a receipt for the paid SEVIS fee.
