Who we are

The Nextali Opportunities Desk is the Nextali team that researches, writes and updates every opportunity on this site. We serve founders, small businesses and professionals in Nigeria and across Africa.

Our job is simple. Find funding and growth opportunities you can actually apply for, check them properly, and explain them in plain language.

What we publish

We only publish opportunities that a Nigerian or African applicant can realistically use. That means the provider opens the call to Nigeria, West Africa, Africa, or runs a global programme that clearly admits African applicants.

When a call is restricted to other regions, we leave it out, even when other sites list it as open to everyone.

How we check every listing

Every listing is checked against the official provider page, never an aggregator headline. We confirm who can apply, what the opportunity offers and the closing date before it goes live.

Each page links to the official application route, so you always apply directly with the provider. Nextali never charges you to apply for an opportunity we list.

Pages show when they were published and last updated. When a deadline passes, the listing is marked closed rather than quietly removed.

Some placements are paid for by partners and never change how we check or describe an opportunity.

A sponsored message always names the brand behind it, always links to that brand, and never shows a closing date or funding figures, so you can tell it apart from a listed opportunity.

Corrections

If a deadline moves, a link breaks or a detail is wrong, we fix it and update the page date. Spot something? Tell us and we will check it quickly.
