About this opportunity

The European School of Materials has opened the application route for AMASE, its Erasmus Mundus Joint Master in Advanced Materials Science and Engineering, for the 2027/28 intake. The deadlines page states "The application period for intake 2027/28 will open in October 2026" and "Full and Partial Erasmus Mundus Scholarships are available for the intake 2027!

". The scholarship is automatic rather than a separate form.

The page prints "All applications completed and submitted before the mentioned deadlines will be automatically considered for the Erasmus Mundus scholarship. " On the fees and scholarships page the support is written as "Students receive a monthly installment of 1,400 € for 24 months", with the subsistence line totalling 33,600 €, while the participation costs are listed as "EU students 1.

500 € (per semester)" and "Non-EU students 4. 500 € (per semester)".

The deadlines run by entrance university. Applicants choosing Luleå University of Technology as entrance university are up first, with the close on 15 January 2027, and those selecting UPC, UdS, UL, MUL or UNIPD close on 15 February 2027, both open to "Candidates from both, EU and Third countries", so a Nigerian graduate applying as a third country candidate is inside the scholarship pool.

A later close on 31 March 2027 covers self financed third country applicants, and the page notes that "A second round of applications for self-funded students will be opened, if there are still free spots available after the first
