About this opportunity

Atlantic Dialogues has run for fifteen years as one of the most influential policy forums connecting the Atlantic basin, and the 2026 edition maps the African Atlantic in a new way: the conference also presents the Atlantic Currents report, which tracks the economic and geopolitical dynamics of African Atlantic countries. Over three days, experts, scholars and policymakers hold focused sessions on how the Atlantic could emerge as a new driver of global growth, with the Global South deliberately centred in the conversations.

Volunteers are not spectators here. Selected students and young professionals work closely with PCNS staff before and during the event, supporting conference setup, venue operations, participant registration and movement, communications between participants and organisers, media and production assistance, session logistics and administrative coordination across an eight day stretch from 6 to 13 December 2026. It is a concentrated introduction to international event management, communications and public engagement, inside a room where decisions on trade, governance, energy transitions, security and climate are argued over.

The centre asks for fluent English, stronger better with French or Arabic as well, genuine interest in the Atlantic region's geopolitical, economic, social and environmental transformations, and a readiness to work flexible hours. Experience in event management is an asset but not required. You must be available for the whole preparation period and the conference itself, attend a mandatory online orientation before the dates, and all scheduled team meetings, and uphold the conference standards of punctuality, reliability, respect and professionalism throughout.

On the practical side this is a non paid volunteer position, with the organisers providing all meals and arranging accommodation on a need basis, which lowers the barrier for applicants from other African countries who can reach Rabat. Send an updated resume and cover letter through the application form on the call page below, make sure your phone number and email appear in both documents since interviews are conducted shortly after applications close, and complete every field of the form. Applications close 18 October 2026 and all applicants are notified of the decision no later than 10 December 2026.
