The Boma Prize for Africa is an initiative by Boma Consult LLC designed to promote business education, youth empowerment, and SME growth across the African continent. This competition provides a platform for aspiring entrepreneurs, startups, and business owners to showcase their ideas and bring their dreams to life through an in-person pitch contest.
In this 2026 edition, we are focusing on addressing the challenges of growing Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Africa. If you are passionate about innovation, economic growth, and sustainable development, this is your chance to shine!
Eligibility
Aspiring Entrepreneurs Students & Fresh Graduates Startups & Existing Businesses Unemployed Individuals Businesses Across All Sectors Africans Living in the Diaspora Business or idea must align with at least one UN SDG. Applicants from the diaspora must have their businesses operating in Africa.
