Applications for the Impact Grant Fund (IGF) 2026 will open on 1 September 2026 , offering grant funding and business growth support to Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Tanzania. The IGF was established by Financial Sector Deepening Tanzania (FSDT) and funded by the European Union (EU)under the Financial Services for Growth (F4G) Programme.

The support is designed to help businesses: Expand their operations Improve financial and management systems Strengthen innovation Create employment opportunities Improve their readiness to access commercial finance Strengthen overall business capacity Why the Fund Was Created The IGF seeks to address some of the challenges that prevent MSMEs from accessing finance, including: Limited access to appropriate credit Lack of collateral Weak financial records and management systems High perceived lending risks Limited access to financial services suited to MSME needs Who Should Prepare to Apply?
MSMEs operating in the eligible regions are encouraged to prepare their business documentation ahead of the application opening. Women- and youth-led businesses with strong growth potential are particularly encouraged to apply.
