Organised by the LeadHER Foundation Institute, the four-month programme is tailored for female undergraduates, graduates, working professionals, career switchers, aspiring data analysts and entrepreneurs seeking to strengthen their digital and leadership skills.
Participants will learn through structured virtual classes, hands-on projects, guided exercises and professional development sessions. The main program begins on 2 August 2026.
About the Program The Women in Tech Programme aims to bridge the gap between academic learning and the practical skills employers demand. Beyond technical training, participants will receive leadership and personal development coaching based on the LeadHER Foundation Institute’s ELIC Standard : Excellence Love Integrity Competence The program seeks to develop women who are technically competent, ethical, confident and prepared to excel in the workplace or as entrepreneurs.
Training Areas Participants in the main programme will receive training in: Microsoft Excel Power BI SQL Data Analysis Data Visualisation Portfolio Website Creation Leadership Development Professional Development Microsoft Excel Participants will develop practical skills in: Data organisation and cleaning Formulas and functions Tables and data management Advanced calculations Charts and visualisations Dashboard creation Power BI The Power BI module covers: Data import and transformation Data modelling Interactive dashboards Visual reporting Trend analysis Report publishing and presentation SQL Participants will learn how to: Query databases Retrieve and organise records Filter and analyse datasets Manipulate data Generate reports No prior SQL experience is required. Portfolio Website Creation Participants will build a professional portfolio website to showcase: Projects Dashboards Certifications Skills and experience The portfolio is designed to strengthen job applications and improve access to freelance, remote and full-time opportunities.
Leadership and Professional Development The programme also includes training in: Communication Confidence Professional ethics Leadership Problem-solving Career readiness Personal accountability Available Courses Applicants can choose from several learning pathways: Full Data Analysis Programme (4 months) Power BI Data Analysis (6 weeks) SQL Data Analysis (3 weeks) Excel for Data Analysts (3 weeks) Participants completing the full programme will graduate with practical skills in Excel, Power BI and SQL, a completed portfolio project, a published portfolio website and three certifications.
