Applications are now open for the Policy, Advocacy and Leadership (PAL) Fellowship 2026 , the flagship policy leadership programme of CYPA Africa. The fellowship is designed to develop a new generation of policy thinkers, researchers, advocates and public leaderscommitted to strengthening governance and advancing evidence-based policymaking across Nigeria.
Eligibility
The fellowship is open to young Nigerians who: Are between 18 and 35 years old Reside in any of Nigeria’s 19 Northern States or the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Have an interest in policy, governance, advocacy, research or public leadership Are passionate about contributing to positive change in their communities and Nigeria What the Fellowship Offers Selected fellows will participate in a structured policy leadership programme designed to strengthen their knowledge, skills and capacity in areas related to: Policy development and analysis Advocacy Leadership Research Governance Public policy Evidence-based decision-making The fellowship runs from September to December 2026.
