If your team has a fintech or creative economy idea that has been waiting for a stage, InnovateX 2026 is built for exactly that. The competition runs on two tracks: Inclusive Finance, covering ideas like credit solutions for youths, fraud detection, payments and customer experience, and Creative Economy, covering education, entertainment and the creator economy, service hubs, social innovation, e-commerce, transport and logistics.
You do not need a finished product to enter. The programme is designed to support participants as they develop and pitch their ideas, with mentorship and bootcamp activities along the way. Every great story starts with someone willing to reimagine possibility, and this one starts with a team of four and an idea.
The journey runs from online registration and idea submission through screening, regional selection and the final pitch competition. The grand finale is set for 30 October 2026, and the total prize pool across the competition is ₦20 million.
To enter, you need to be a Nigerian citizen aged 16 to 30, a tertiary student with a valid school identification card, and ready to work as part of a four member team. Each applicant also needs an active Blaze account, Ecobank's youth focused banking offering.
