About this opportunity
The Mercedes-Benz beVisioneers Fellowship is a two year programme for young innovators aged 18 to 28 who are developing solutions to environmental challenges. It is designed and implemented by The DO School Fellowships and funded by Mercedes-Benz, and it supports participants from an early stage idea through to a scalable, sustainable impact project.
The first year is a 12 month foundational innovation programme that asks for a minimum commitment of 24 hours per month. Participants build the skills, networks and knowledge needed to develop a market-tested prototype, with access to venture coaching, mentoring and online training modules. At the end of that year, participants can access project scholarships of up to €15,000 to advance their project development.
The second year is the Acceleration Year. The focus moves to scaling the venture into a sustainable impact project, with deeper access to venture coaching, scaling mentors and skills-gap workshops, alongside financial support through project scholarships and a cost-of-living stipend. Fellows also join the beVisioneers Alumni Network after completing the programme, which connects them to a global ecosystem of investors, accelerators, experts, climate scientists and partners.
The fellowship supports work across a wide range of environmental themes, including community environmental resilience, climate action, circular economy, sustainable mobility, biodiversity and conservation, waste reduction, renewable energy and sustainable agriculture. Training is delivered online, and the programme also includes Local Hub gatherings, hybrid events and international travel to Regional Summits.

Who can apply
- Be between 18 and 28 years old on the application closing date of 31 January 2027
- Currently live, study or reside in one of the eligible countries listed for this admissions round
- Remain in an eligible country for the majority of each fellowship year, defined as more than 9 months
- Implement the project in the same eligible country where the applicant is based
- Have a good command of English, since the programme is conducted in English
- Show commitment to positive environmental change and an entrepreneurial spirit, including persistence and resilience
- Have an existing project or a strong idea for a genuinely planet-positive solution
- Commit a minimum of 24 hours per month during the 12 month foundational year
Who should not apply
- Applicants who turn 29 or are below 18 on or before the closing date of 31 January 2027 are not eligible
- Applicants who work for Mercedes-Benz, or whose parent or guardian works for Mercedes-Benz, are not eligible
- Relocating to a country outside the eligible list during the fellowship is not permitted
- Nigeria is not among the eligible countries listed for this admissions round
