J-PAL's Project AI Evidence is recruiting resident scholars in low- and middle-income countries to train in evaluating AI-enabled interventions, with competitive pilot funding.

Eligibility: Resident scholars based in low- and middle-income countries in Asia and Africa as defined by the World Bank

No fixed amount is published. Scholars who pass the proctored assessment and submit a revised concept note are considered for proposal-development and travel support, plus a separate competitive review for pilot research funding.
