MOPGA 2027 Visiting Fellowship in France for Early Career Environmental Researchers

MOPGA 2027 funds a 12 month research stay in a French laboratory for early career researchers from outside France who work on climate, energy, earth systems, sustainability and One Health. The fellowship pays a monthly allowance of EUR 2,500 plus a EUR 500 settling-in allowance, and applications close on 15 December 2026.

Eligibility: You hold a doctoral degree awarded less than five years before the application deadline, which for this call means you defended your thesis between December 2021 and December 2026 inclusive

Funding or benefit

A monthly allowance of EUR 2,500 for a fellowship period of 12 months, plus a EUR 500 settling-in allowance paid during the first month of the research stay. Health coverage, civil liability insurance and repatriation assistance are included, followed by supplementary health insurance once the fellow registers with the French social security system. International travel costs to France are not covered.
