TradeRoots Africa is a capacity building programme from the ICC Centre of Entrepreneurship that turns continental trade policy into practical steps for small and medium enterprises. It is built for African owned businesses that are ready to move from selling at home to selling across borders.
The curriculum follows six operational areas, covering commercial growth, financing, supply chain operations, technology integration and expert guidance. Delivery runs in three phases from November 2026 to August 2027, so participants learn trade fundamentals, build digital commerce skills and then work on export acceleration.
There is no cash grant here. The value is in structure, mentorship and a clear route to a first or wider export market. If your registered business is two years old, earning above US$5,000 a year and has a real product ready for international buyers, this programme is designed for you.

Who can apply
