About this opportunity
The UN Food Systems Coordination Hub is inviting people and organisations across Africa and the world to submit proven food systems solutions for its Database of Practices. If you are already making food production, nutrition or rural livelihoods better, this is a free way to have that work documented and seen on a global stage.
The Hub welcomes two kinds of entries, namely success stories, and promising or good practices. Submissions can describe work at the local, national, regional or global level, so a Nigerian agribusiness, a farming cooperative, a government programme or a youth led food enterprise all fit. Every accepted entry becomes core content in the Database of Practices, and the strongest ones are gathered into a Compendium of Promising and Good Practices in Food Systems Transformation that is set to launch in 2027.
There is no cash award here. The value is visibility, credibility and a place in a United Nations knowledge resource that policymakers and funders draw on. Forms and templates come in all six official UN languages, and you can send more than one entry using a separate form for each.
The window runs from 18 September to 31 October 2026, so gather your write up and any supporting links before it closes.

Who should not apply
- This is a knowledge sharing and visibility call, not a grant, so there is no cash funding attached.
- Only entries received by 31 October 2026 are considered for this round.

Selection process
- All submissions form the core content of the Database of Practices.
- Entries selected as promising or good practices pass through an expert review before appearing in the 2027 Compendium.
