The African Development Bank Group is opening applications for Session 1 of its 2027 Internship Program, running from 28 September to 12 October 2026. Young Africans aged 30 or below who are enrolled in a master level programme, or within one year of graduating, can apply for three to six month internships with a monthly stipend, starting January 2027.

PAST Africa has opened the fifth call of the Andrea Leenen Memorial All from One Research Grant Programme, awarding up to US$25,000 per project to a maximum of two African palaeontology research projects. Eligible applicants are African-based post-doctoral and senior researchers, or African nationals based overseas with a formal affiliation to an African institution. Pre-applications close 23 October 2026 and invited full applications close 5 February 2027.
