Local voices change local policy, and the GFF x CIVIC VOICES initiative is betting on them. A new call for proposals is open for civil society, youth-led and community-based organisations across Africa that work on civic engagement, coalition-building and youth leadership around domestic resource mobilisation for women's, children's and adolescent health and nutrition.
The initiative will provide up to US$3. 35 million in funding across up to 22 African countries, with grants running for up to 18 months.
Money is only part of the story. Selected organisations also receive advocacy training, budget analysis technical assistance and mentorship.
