About this opportunity

Online learning fails when nobody is holding the room. The Green Bridges Facilitator Training is built around that unglamorous skill, and the application form describes what participants gain as "the skills, tools and confidence to facilitate engaging and inclusive virtual learning sessions for young people on topics of climate action and social innovation".

It is free, it is delivered live rather than pre recorded, and it asks for commitment rather than a fee. The programme runs from 4 November to 2 December 2026 across five Wednesday sessions on 4, 11, 18 and 25 November and 2 December, plus two Friday sessions on 13 and 20 November, each held from 17:00 to 18:30 CET.

The form is direct about expectations, "Attendance at a minimum of five sessions is required to obtain the certificate", and adds that participants are "expected to be active, visible and engaged throughout the programme". Those who complete it receive a certificate of participation.

There is no country restriction printed on the form. It asks for country of residence and nationality as open questions rather than as filters, so applicants from Nigeria and elsewhere in Africa are not screened out by the questions themselves.

One carve out applies, students currently enrolled in an EPOS study programme are asked not to use this form and to register instead through the AGEP course page for facilitator training.

What you receive

  • Seven free live online sessions on facilitation, held on Wednesdays and Fridays from 17:00 to 18:30 CET
  • Practical skills in managing discussions and group activities with young people
  • Digital tools for interactive learning
  • Peer exchange and networking with participants from different backgrounds
  • A certificate of participation once you have attended at least five sessions

Who can apply

  • The form prints no country restriction and asks for country of residence and nationality as open questions
  • Applicants are expected to be interested in climate action, sustainability, education, social innovation or intercultural exchange
  • You must be able to commit to the schedule and take an active part, since participants are "expected to be active, visible and engaged throughout the programme"
  • Attendance at a minimum of five of the seven sessions is required to obtain the certificate
  • Students currently enrolled in an EPOS study programme are asked to apply through the AGEP registration links rather than this form

Who should not apply

  • Currently enrolled EPOS study programme students must use the AGEP registration route instead of the Green Bridges form
  • No certificate is issued to participants who attend fewer than five sessions

Documents to prepare

  • An email address you can receive the training schedule on
  • Your first name, last name, age, gender, country of residence and nationality
  • A note on your professional background and any prior facilitation experience
  • A short statement of your motivation for attending the training

How to apply

  • Check that you can attend the Wednesday sessions on 4, 11, 18 and 25 November and 2 December, and the Friday sessions on 13 and 20 November, from 17:00 to 18:30 CET
  • Open the application form at https://forms.gle/6RtMknFyU1mRS86Z9
  • Answer the questions on your background, your country of residence and your motivation
  • If you are currently enrolled in an EPOS programme, register instead at https://agep-info.de/course/facilitator-training/
