About this opportunity
The Miller Center for Global Impact runs a six month virtual accelerator for growth stage social enterprises, and it is now recruiting the cohort that begins in January 2027. The centre is a Santa Clara University center of distinction, and the programme is delivered entirely online.
The core of the accelerator is 180 hours of dedicated executive mentoring, drawn from a network of more than 500 executives, entrepreneurs and business leaders. Sessions focus on strengthening business models, financial planning and investment readiness, alongside guidance on sustainable growth and scaling impact.
Participants also join a global community of impact driven entrepreneurs. Entry requirements are practical rather than academic.
The centre looks for an enterprise that has been operating for at least a year and already sells products or services, with at least $50,000 USD (or local currency equivalent) in annual earned income and not entirely dependent on contributions or grants. A working financial model, at least three full time staff and a minimum three month cash runway are also part of the profile, together with a clear commitment to people living in poverty, UN Sustainable Development Goals, and women's economic power or climate resilience.
