The Fund for Innovation in Development funds innovations that reduce global poverty and inequality, letting innovators test ideas, build rigorous evidence and scale the most cost-effective solutions. Five of its six grant tracks follow a staged approach that calibrates the award to the strength of evidence on impact, cost-effectiveness and scalability.
The tracks are Prepare Grants up to €50,000, Stage 1 Pilot Grants up to €200,000, Stage 2 Test and Position for Scale up to €1,500,000, Stage 3 Transition to Scale €1,500,000–€4,000,000, an Innovation and Public Policies Grant up to €500,000, and an Evidence and Public Policies Grant up to €500,000. Applications are accepted on an ongoing basis, and organisations based in low- and middle-income countries eligible for OECD-DAC official development assistance are specifically encouraged to apply.

The Echidna Global Scholars Program is a six month visiting fellowship run by the Center for Universal Education at the Brookings Institution in Washington, D.C. It places mid-career leaders from the Global South in a structured research cycle so they can build the evidence behind gender-transformative education, that is, work that improves learning opportunities and life outcomes for girls, young women and gender non-conforming people. Scholars receive a total stipend of US$26,500, and the programme covers round-trip travel, single-occupancy housing during the four month residency, the costs of the visa process, the opening research design retreat and a limited health insurance plan. Because it is open to experienced professionals with substantial ties to any country in the Global South, a Nigerian or other African education, research, civil society or government leader competes on the same terms as applicants from elsewhere. - Thunderbird SHARE Fellowship 2027: Full Tuition, Living Expenses and Executive Mentorship at Arizona State University for Leaders from Low and Middle Income Countries
The SHARE Fellowship is an alumni funded scholarship and mentorship programme at the Thunderbird School of Global Management, Arizona State University, for students from developing countries who plan to make an impact in their home regions. It funds full tuition and expense money for the Master of Global Management degree, and wraps it in one on one coaching and introductions to a network of executive mentors, with 80 fellowships granted across 42 countries so far. The route is open to Nigerians and other Africans: Thunderbird selects people from low and middle income countries guided by the OECD list of ODA recipient countries, regardless of current passport. To be reviewed for the fellowship you must be admitted to the Master of Global Management by 31 December 2026, the SHARE application cycle opened 1 September, and attendance at an official information session is required, with the next listed session on 5 November 2026 at 9:00 am Arizona time.
