Sciences Po Mastercard Foundation Scholars Program, Graduate Study 2027

A fully funded route into a two-year Master’s at Sciences Po in France for students from the African continent, covering full financial need plus comprehensive support across both years of study. You must apply for the Scholars Program and for a Sciences Po Master’s at the same time, and the Scholars application also carries an application fee waiver. Two deadlines remain open for the 2027 intake: 14 December 2026 if you want your admission decision by 1 April 2027. Scholarship results are communicated in April 2027.

Erasmus Mundus MESPOM Scholarship 2027/2029 in Environmental Sciences, Policy and Management

A two year Erasmus Mundus joint master's in environmental sciences, policy and management, taught across Central European University, the University of the Aegean, Lund University and the University of Manchester, with partial tuition fee waivers and living stipends open to applicants from all countries.

Eligibility: MESPOM invites applicants from all countries, so Nigerian and other African graduates with a qualifying first degree can apply

IBCI Blue Carbon Fellowship 2026 by the International Blue Carbon Institute

A USD 60,000 research grant spread over two years for one blue carbon scientist or practitioner, with applications welcome from all regions and African applicants particularly encouraged for this cycle.

Eligibility: Outstanding experts and professionals working across diverse blue carbon disciplines, with a demonstrated commitment to research or application of the natural and social sciences and to protecting, conserving and restoring blue carbon ecosystems
