Applications are open for the Harambeans Entrepreneur Alliance 2026 , a competitive opportunity for young African innovators building businesses and social ventures focused on Africa. The Harambe Entrepreneur Alliance brings together African entrepreneurs and innovators to collaborate, share knowledge, access networks and connect with opportunities that can help their ventures grow. The Alliance says its members have collectively raised more than US$2 billion and generated more than 3,000 jobs . Who Can Apply? To be eligible, applicants must: Be of African birth or origin Be currently enrolled in a college or university or be a graduate Be working on an early-stage or more advanced social or business venture Have a venture that is focused on or related to Africa . Applicants do not necessarily need to have an established company. The Alliance considers candidates at different stages of developing their ideas and ventures. What Do Harambeans Get?
