GIJC27 Fellowship 2027: Fully Funded Place at the Global Investigative Journalism Conference in Rotterdam for Journalists from Developing and Transitioning Countries
The Global Investigative Journalism Network is offering fellowships for the 15th Global Investigative Journalism Conference, GIJC27, which brings journalists together in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, from 19 to 23 October 2027. A full fellowship covers round trip airfare to Rotterdam, airport transfers, four nights of hotel accommodation, conference meals and receptions, the award ceremony dinner and the registration fee. Fellowships are aimed at professional journalists from the Global South and from historically underrepresented groups, including freelancers working in developing or transitioning countries, which makes this a realistic route for reporters across Africa to join the field’s biggest annual gathering. Applications close on 31 January 2027, and successful fellows are notified by email by the end of April 2027.
